What is this website all about?

The field of animal rehabilitation in veterinary medicine has been steadily emerging and its future promises to be exciting. Those veterinarians embracing it as a new but essential service in their practice will find that they have made a prudent decision both for the animal being treated as well as their business.

The level of interest and support in this field by different professions has also proven strong. With animal rehabilitation steadily working itself into the mainstream, veterinarians are now seeing the long-term benefits of turning to those professionals in the field of physical therapy for their input.

One of our goals for this web site is to provide support and resources for veterinarians, physical therapists, veterinary technicians, and physical therapy assistants while they explore the fields of canine rehabilitation. Another goal is to be a resource site for all professionals as well as owners who share a common interest in helping animals recover from illness and/or injury, to ultimately help them to live full, happy and productive lives.

Here you will also find links to sites that are simply for fun, from products to services to events. We welcome emails telling us of potential links to add - links such as fun web sites, new products, unique services, upcoming events in your area, etc. as long as they relate to our canine companions or the field of canine rehabilitation. Also provided at this site is an extensive Pet Medical Library for you to search for additional information at no cost.
